Announcement: UNESCO to include Koh Ker temple as a World Heritage site

On 17 September 2023, the Royal Government of Cambodia issued an announcement regarding the decision of UNESCO to include Koh Ker temple as a World Heritage site.

According to the announcement, The World Heritage Committee of UNESCO unanimously decided to add the “Koh Ker Temple Resort” to the World Heritage List by Resolution 45 COM 8B.8 at its 45th session in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia at the request of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
